Carbon Neutral Research Center has structured its efforts into five key groups, each focusing on a distinct area of carbon neutrality and sustainability. Each group is led by specialized faculty members with relevant expertise and supported by a team of researchers, ensuring effective project execution and impactful outcomes.

Establishing a Verification System: This group is responsible for setting up and implementing standards for carbon neutrality verification through a certified system. Their work includes creating an official process for organizations to measure and verify their carbon emissions.
Developing Carbon Assessment Tools: They lead the development of tools that allow accurate carbon footprint assessments across various industries and suggest actionable reduction strategies.
Carbon Footprint Evaluation Services: By providing businesses with carbon auditing and footprint evaluation services, they offer essential insights that help organizations create effective carbon reduction plans. Revenue generated from these services also supports the Center’s activities.

Training Programs for Carbon Auditors and Researchers: This group designs and delivers specialized courses to train professionals in carbon neutrality standards and verification processes. These programs aim to develop a skilled workforce to meet the growing demand for sustainability experts.
Organizing Workshops and Forums: They organize public workshops, forums, and seminars to promote knowledge-sharing between academia and industry. These events not only generate revenue but also foster collaboration and raise awareness on carbon neutrality.
Community Outreach and Awareness: Through public events and outreach programs, they engage with the community to raise awareness about the importance of carbon neutrality, supported by government funding and corporate sponsorships.

Creating a Carbon Emissions Database: This group is responsible for developing a comprehensive carbon emissions database, tracking data across different industries and environments. This database is vital for policy development and provides insights that support research and decision-making.
Developing Policy Recommendations: Based on their findings, they offer practical policy recommendations to both the government and corporate sectors, helping them create frameworks that support carbon neutrality.
Industry and Academia Partnerships: By collaborating with industry partners, they promote applied research and innovative practices, with revenues generated through consultancy services and research grants.

Data Scientist: Amit Sah Postdoctoral Researcher, responsible for data collection, processing and analysis, and writing relevant reports.
Policy experts: Based on data analysis, make policy recommendations and promote policy implementation.
Industry-Academic Cooperation Specialist: Coordinates the implementation of research and industrial cooperation and ensures the profitability of technology transformation.

Revenue Generation through Collaborative Projects: By initiating joint projects, they create opportunities for funding from various sources, which supports the Center’s initiatives and expands its impact.

Developing Microbial Fermentation Techniques: This group applies microbial fermentation to transform organic waste (e.g., coffee grounds) into eco-friendly fertilizers and other useful products, supporting the shift to a circular economy and reducing environmental waste.
Establishing Carbon Footprint in Pilot Sites: By creating carbon footprint databases in pilot locations, they measure and document the impact of using organic fertilizers and other recycled products on carbon emissions reduction.
Promoting Circular Economy Products: They demonstrate the effectiveness of waste-to-resource practices through field trials, attracting potential corporate partners interested in sustainable production practices. Revenue is generated from the sale of organic fertilizers and licensing of microbial technology.
